1. Finalize our review of the HES system, Risk assessment and routines and make sure we are following Norwegian Law
2. Complete necessary steps of documenting our environmental actions
3. Get the formal approval.

STATUS: 4th November 2010: We are now in the final stage of getting the Miljøfyrtån certificate. All documentation will be handed in to the consultant in week 44. It will take some time for the consultant to go through the information, but we are on schedule to have finished the project by new years. March 2011: Application submitted March 31st: Campus Inspection completed satisfactorily. April 1st 2011 The Miljøfortan Certificate was awarded - the College name is to be The Environmental Beacon Certificate. Certificate and stickers presented to the college at Council Meeting in April 2011. Work must continue in 2012 to retain the certificate.
